Ty, an extraordinary competitor, thrills us with her enthusiasm and drive! She is animated, intense, focused and very stylish. At the end of a hard day hunting or playing, she enjoys some couch time and snuggles well in bed. As a juvenile in the field, Ty earned Top Ten honors after only five months of competition. After a summer hiatus, Ty rocketed up the Top Ten list, reaching #1 in October 2007, and held the top slot through her 2nd birthday the following May! Ty has been competing in the adult gun dog stakes in throughout this year. In the spring 2011, she “graduated” retrieving school under the fine guidance of Kim Trafton at Eshod Farm. Following that, she traveled with the rest of the gang to Montana for summer camp with professional trainer/handler Jamie Fountain. This fall she has been on the road trialing and started picking up some very respectable placements in large gun dog stakes.
